Chattahoochee Nature Center Field Trip (K-5th) - RAPTORS

I have reserved the "Raptors" guided field trip for my 5 co-op kids and we are looking forward to having other local friends join us! Target age range is K - 4th grade, though all ages are welcome.  

Cost: $12.50 per person (including adults) 

Arrival: 9:45 am - meet at the front entrance 

Presentation: 10:00 - 11:15 am 

Free Exploration & Lunch: 11: 15 - 12:30 

There are trails surrounding the center for those who want to explore after.  

PAYMENT: Cost is $12.50 per person ($12.00 goes to the center, .50 to cover my credit card fees). You can pay online, via Venmo (@AngelesHiker), or Zelle.  

REGISTRATION: Please complete the booking form. I will email a reminder to the primary registrant a few days prior to the event. You will receive a "ticket" as your receipt. Feel free to bring this on the morning of the field trip.

PROGRAM: This is one of the center's 3rd grade field trips, but they will adapt their presentation to accommodate our mixed age kiddos (target K-4th). From the site: "This program focuses on the birds of prey that call Georgia home. Habitats, adaptations, and conservation issues will be discussed. LUNCH: There will be an opportunity to enjoy lunch on-site with the group. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch so we can get to know each other!  

ETIQUETTE: This is a parent/guardian/leader-attended field trip, not a drop off program. Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of 1 adult per 6 kids if you are bringing a co-op group. The guided program will run about 1 hour. If you have Littles who cannot attend for that long, please be sure to have an extra adult who could take them out to the exploration center so as not to distract from the presentation.
