IN-PERSON: This is an in-person class that meets at EdVentures in Roswell, GA (near Leita Thompson Park; email for address) DAY & TIME: Wednesdays, 2:45 - 3:45 DATES: 1st Semester: September 20 - December 13, 2023 No class November 22 & 29 (see EdV Calendar) PAYMENT: Payment is due in full upon registration. Late enrollments accepted if space is available and can be prorated. Call to register if enrolling after September 19th. SUPPLY FEE: Purchase of student worktext required. TBA. WITHDRAWALS/REFUNDS: Withdrawals and refunds will be issued through the 2nd class. After this, no refunds will be issued. TEACHER: This class is taught by Ms. Ana. Ms. Ana is a native Spanish speaker and teaches preschool and homeschool classes in the local community. HOMEWORK: 1 - 2 hours per week DESCRIPTION: Fall Semester - Part 1 This high school level class is designed for middle school students wanting to get a head start on their high school credits. Students will be required to purchase a worktext for this course. This course will be offered over 2 semesters, with each semester being equivalent to .5 credits. Start your journey towards mastering the Spanish language! This introductory course is perfect for students with little or no previous study of the language. Our course teaches basic language patterns and vocabulary, emphasizing repetition and comprehensible input. You will develop all four language skills; reading, writing, speaking and listening, while gaining a deeper understanding of the rich culture that surrounds the language.
