IN-PERSON: This is an in-person class that meets at EdVentures in Roswell, GA (near Leita Thompson Park; email for address) DAY & TIME: Wednesdays, 12:30 - 2:45 DATES: -1st Semester: September 6 - December 13, 2023 (no class November 22) -2nd Semester: January 10 - May 22, 2024 (no class April 3) SUPPLY FEE: $25 (due now to hold your child's space). PAYMENT: You will be billed for the remaining balance. The supply fee is in addition to the tuition. Select your payment option below: In-full (5% discount for check/money order), per semester, or monthly installment. You will will receive an invoice for your selection. WITHDRAWALS: Register per semester or annually. A 30 day notice is required for withdrawals. Refunds will be issued for prepayments of unused days after the 30 day notice. TEACHER: This class is taught by a K-8 GA Certified Teacher. HOMEWORK: Completion of weekly assignments (~30-60 mins) is an expectation in this class. DESCRIPTION: Sharpen your "IQ"...your "Ink and Quill," that is! Unlock your student's writing potential with EdVentures' Ink & Quill Composition Class! Designed for 4th-8th graders, this course will help your student build technical writing skills by honing structural fluency and grammatical proficiency, while also expressing their personal voice and creativity. Students will learn to write each of the core essay types (persuasive/argumentative, informational, and narrative) using a variety of strategies, from building an outline to using a graphic organizer. Additionally, students will explore the world of cursive, calligraphy, and scrapbook journaling. As a special activity, they will even make their own quill! With EdVentures, your student will be ready to tackle any writing challenge! Join us on this exciting journey of writing. Cancellation Policy

Refund will be issued up to 7 days prior to the first day of a class or event. No refunds will be issued after this period.
