The resources on this list are either exclusive or highly intentional about, serving the homeschool community. NETWORKS, CONSULTING, SUPPLIES
Several homeschooling networks and resource centers exist to help you connect to the homeschooling community.
"Network of homeschooling families throughout Georgia, with smaller more local groups for local connections and activities. We are all devoted to investing in and growing the next generation." Christian leadership, but open to all.
High school coaching for parents, study skills classes, help with college planning and applications. "Focus and wisdom on how to intentionally launch your children into the world with the life skills that they need."

"College counselor with 28 years of experience (25 inside college admissions). Provides homeschoolers with everything from transcript help to step-by-step assistance choosing and applying to any sort of college. He has helped students with everything from Chatt Tech to Harvard."

HYBRID / NON-TRADITIONAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS
Hybrid schools offer a blended approach to learning where students spend some days learning in a brick-and-mortar school and the remaining days learning from home. Each school develops its own schedule, structure, philosophy, curriculum, homework policies, and course offerings. Most charge an annual tuition and enrollment fee and many will offer an accredited transcript. These are run by a paid staff and administration.
Acworth, Calhoun, Cumming, Rutledge
TandemEDU is a once a week homeschool hybrid program for grades 8-12. Students can graduate with a high school diploma and as many as 46 college credits. TandemEDU offers accountability and help teaching the tough high school subjects while providing teen fellowship with like-minded families.
2 days/week hybrid for 5th-8th grade boys on Cherokee County & Forsyth County line. "The Anvil Academy serves as a supplemental partner to homeschooling families; not with content instruction, but with experiential application."

HOMESCHOOL LEARNING CENTERS
(ACADEMIC COURSES + ENRICHMENT CLASSES)
There are a wide variety of learning centers offering academic courses, elective classes, workshops, and enrichment opportunities dedicated to homeschooling students and taught by paid and/or volunteer instructors. Offerings can range from daily learning pods, to semester-long courses, to single enrichment classes. Some centers offer drop-off services, while others require parents to stay on-site.
"Advanced Studies at Fernbank Science Center is a unique experience that offers hands-on investigations into a variety of specialized areas of science. Students will have the opportunity to study with expert instructors, working in well-equipped laboratories or traveling to the field. The courses are available to students outside of the DeKalb County School District on a space-available, fee basis."
"The Dreamers' School is a part-time enrichment program for homeschoolers. Our programs are Waldorf-inspired, with the goal of educating the whole child, “head, heart, and hands.” We offer classes for children ages 5-12, and all age groups work within an arts-integrated curriculum based on cultivating students' intellectual, emotional, and physical capacities."

"Discover Science Center is an informal science education enrichment center whose purpose is to supplement the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum taught in K-12 schools and homeschool programs through engaging hands-on science activities."

HOMESCHOOL CO-OPS (FACILITATED/ESTABLISHED)
This section features homeschool co-ops that have established meeting places, facilitated instruction, and offer academic, enrichment, and social activities for homeschool students. In general, co-ops are organized by parents and/or volunteers. Some require a registration or membership fee. Most require significant parent participation.

COMMUNITY HOMESCHOOL GROUPS (PARENT-ORGANIZED)
This section features homeschool groups organized by parents. These groups generally meet at parks or throughout the community.
We will take fun field trips and nature days every month on Fridays. We will have academic meet-ups in Roswell on Mondays and Wednesdays and academic meet-up in Lawrenceville on Tuesdays.
PRIVATE TUTORS & INSTRUCTORS
There are a growing number of independent teachers, instructors, or tutors offering private, semi-private, group, or co-op instruction to the homeschool community. Always perform due diligence and ask for reference before meeting privately.
"I offer individual and group classes for teens who LOVE social studies and want to take a deep dive into topics; HATE social studies and think it's boring or pointless; LOVE to search for the why when they learn, or who need context when they study; HATE a cookie-cutter approach to learning; LOVE seeing the "big picture" of a topic."
SUPPORT SERVICES: COGNITIVE, ACADEMIC, READING
Educational and academic support services help students with learning challenges such as speech delays, dyslexia, dysgraphia, processing disorders, ADHD, memory, reading, writing, etc. Many of these centers offer educational assessments, diagnostics, and supportive services.
"Individual or small group tutoring, independent study and educational workshops for K-12th grade students." Also offers transcript services for an accredited transcript.
SUPPORT SERVICES: PSYCHOLOGICAL, MENTAL HEALTH
Neuropsychological evaluations offer insight into a child’s functioning in areas such as attention, processing, reasoning, language, memory, executive function, etc. These type of evaluations are conducted by licensed psychologists.
"NeuroKids Center provides comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and young adult patients where impairments of cognitive or neuropsychological functioning are suspected."
"Dr. Ho treats children, teenagers, and adults. He specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety problems, OCD, bipolar disorder, autism, and ADHD...he provides treatment for both the children and parents that are seen in our practice as well as other adult patients from the community."
SUPPORT SERVICES: SPEECH & LANGUAGE
Speech and language pathologists evaluate and treat speech, language, social communication impairments relating to articulation disorders, apraxia, Aspergers/Autism Spectrum Disorder, motor sequencing, motor processing, reading disorders, ADD/ADHD, receptive or expressive disorders, and more.
Tutors, testing, executive functioning support, Orton- Gillingham tutoring, and Speech language pathologists. "We each hold the highest qualifications in our field of Speech Language Pathology and Communication Sciences and Disorders."
