Students will learn to bake and decorate a cake using traditional piping techniques. We will then play with color blending, mixing, dripping, and more to create a galaxy cake that is out of this world! GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Students receive a new food art kit to take home each week! Students will love this creative mix of cooking, crafts, creating, clay, constructing, and cooperative games! Each week, students will focus on one style of cooking / food art. They will build upon their skills each day, learning new techniques to create fantastic edible creations. Crafts, games, clay creations, etc. will center around the theme of the week. WEEKLY SCHEDULE: Day 1: Kit reveal; learn the basics Day 2: Project 1 - Happy Birthday! Day 3: Project 2 - Out of This World Day 4: Craft & Create (Non-edible creations based on the current treat theme!) Day 5: Nailed It Challenge! Each week begins with a kit reveal and learning basic techniques of the current craft (preparing to create, piping, knife skills, baking tips, etc.). On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, students develop and refine skills through guided projects. On Thursdays, we take a break from cooking and have a blast creating theme-based crafts such as adorable clay sculptures of tasty delights, playing related games such as Sushi Go, AND planning our designs for the NAILED IT challenge! Students will also enjoy a snack break, along with unstructured time to play, craft and socialize in our playroom and outdoors green space! SUPPLIES PROVIDED: -Students will receive a cool camp themed supply kit for each camp they attend! SUPPLIES BROUGHT FROM HOME: -Apron -Carrying box for daily projects -Some camps will also require that students make/bake a recipe at home, to be brought in on days 3 & 5 (i.e. batch of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, etc.).

Refund will be issued up to 7 days prior to the first day of a class or event. No refunds will be issued after this period.
