Homeschool Reading Support
1st - 5th - 9:00 - 12:00 (Full Day Available!)
Our EdV Reading Intensives offer two targeted programs using high-impact evidence-based programs designed to meet students exactly where they are. Each morning is filled with learning and fun as students build reading skills one step at a time, while growing in confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and developing a lifelong love of reading. With small group ratios (1:6 in Primary and 1:4 in Remediation) and a placement assessment to ensure the best fit, each child receives the personalized support they need to thrive.
SPECIALIZED, HIGH IMPACT CURRICULUM FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS
Our Friday Reading Intensives provide high-impact, evidence-based, multisensory instruction grounded in the five pillars of reading. Through engaging, targeted lessons, students strengthen the underlying sensory-cognitive processes essential for reading success. Our approach builds phonological awareness, phonics, automaticity and fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills using highly specialized programs such as Lindamood Bell's Seeing Stars and Visualizing and Verbalizing, University of Florida's Foundations (OG), Heggerty Bridge the Gap, and more.

Instruction also emphasizes concept imagery, vocabulary, and contextual understanding, helping students make meaning from text—not just read the words. For students progressing into more advanced reading, we explicitly teach multisyllabic decoding, syllabication, and morphology to support continued growth in fluency and comprehension.
Each morning is intentionally structured yet fun, with a variety of hands-on, targeted activities that build skills, reinforce learning, and grow confidence.

Using structured, evidence-based, and dyslexia-friendly approaches, instruction is explicit, systematic, and cumulative, ensuring students truly understand how reading works. Lessons are engaging and multisensory, incorporating movement, visual supports, and hands-on practice to strengthen retention and build neural pathways for reading success.
