Our tutoring program helps near-level and on-level students reinforce current concepts and complete assignments with the guidance of a qualified teacher. In a supportive and encouraging environment, students receive the personalized help they need to understand their lessons and stay on track academically. In our tutoring model, students bring their own work from class and teachers help complete assignments while reinforcing the concept at hand.

Academic Remediation

Our remediation program is designed for students with specific learning challenges and those who have significant gaps in reading, writing, or math skills. This program uses a specialized curriculum that provides explicit, systematic instruction to build foundational skills from the ground up, helping students fill in those critical learning gaps to ensure success across all subjects. Students entering our remediation program should expect to attend a minimum of two sessions per week.

Reading Remediation - OG Tutoring

Our reading remediation program offers semi-private support tailored for students in 2nd grade and above who are struggling with reading proficiency, including those with dyslexia. Using the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach, we focus on building fluency and confidence through targeted instruction in phonemic awareness, decoding, encoding, morphology, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. This structured, supportive environment provides students with the tools they need to become skilled and confident readers.

Spelling Remediation - Phonemic Awareness & Visual Memory

For students who struggle with spelling, phonics alone isn’t always enough. Our spelling remediation program begins with phonemic awareness and progresses to developing visual memory—the ability to remember how words look. Using structured, multisensory methods, we help students internalize spelling patterns, recognize irregular words, and build lasting confidence in their writing. This approach is ideal for students who need more than just sounding it out to become strong, accurate spellers.

Writing Remediation

Our writing remediation program provides targeted support for students with dyslexia or dysgraphia, focusing on building essential writing skills in a structured, supportive setting. Using multi-sensory and explicit instruction, we help students strengthen their handwriting, spelling, sentence structure, grammar, and composition skills. With individualized strategies, students build confidence and fluency in written expression, enabling them to communicate their ideas effectively and clearly.

Math Remediation

Our math remediation program provides targeted support for students struggling with foundational skills, including those with dyscalculia. Using a multi-sensory approach, we strengthen key areas such as number sense, arithmetic, and problem-solving. This program ensures personalized progression and comprehensive concept mastery. Through semi-private instruction and hands-on activities, students build confidence and fluency in math with engaging, tailored practice.
