Social Membership

LOOKING FOR COMMUNITY & CONNECTION?
WE OFFER AN ARRAY OF SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL FAMILIES!

Our annual Social Membership welcomes local home educating families to join our vibrant social community. The Social Membership grants families not currently enrolled in any of our hybrid programs annual registration access to our family field trips, enrichment classes, Parents' Night Out, holiday and summer break programming, tutoring services, and more—offering connection, support, and fun for homeschoolers seeking community without full program enrollment.

How it Works

Our annual Social Membership grants local homeschooling families registration access to our many social programs for an annual fee of $35 per family. This fee helps to offset the per-family cost of our program management software and the time spent developing programs. Prices vary per event, class, trip, etc. The majority of our social events are held at our EdVentures location OR at local venues. Listed below are a sampling of our offerings. The annual fee can be waived in exchange for planning an event.

The annual cost of our Social Membership is $35 per family. This fee helps to offset the cost of our program management software and the time spent coordinating events.

Our Social Membership requires creating an account through Our School Hangout. To join, simply email Kristin with a quick introduction of your family that includes the names and ages of your kids.

All social event registrations are managed through our program platform, Our School Hangout. Once enrolled as a Social Member, you'll gain access to the system where you can browse and register for any social programs, events, or classes that interest you.

We try to provide an array of opportunities at varying price points. Each event, class, enrichment program, etc. is priced separately. Prices for are listed in our registration portal and can be viewed once you are a member.

Our teachers offer academic support, tutoring, and remediation after hours and on weekends. There is an annual facility fee of $35 for all tutoring students. This fee includes registration access to all social events, plus holiday & summer enrichment programs.

Dungeons & Dragons (CC)

Neurodivergent-friendly class, hosted by Critical Connections

Tuesdays, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at EdVentures

Semester 1: $350 (12 sessions) * Semester 2: $375 (15 sessions)

We’re entering our third campaign in the ever-growing world of
EdVantra, the shared fictional universe where all of our school-year sessions and summer camp adventures take place. Each game adds new depth to the story, and it’s not uncommon for beloved characters—or notorious villains—from past years to return. This fall, I’ll be guiding players through Shadow of the Undying, a two-part mystery that will test their courage and creativity. Expect plenty of laughs, twists, and the kind of chaos only a D&D table can bring.

In this campaign, players will explore the haunted halls of Bloodstone Manor, confronting an ancient curse and the growing darkness that threatens to consume the land. As forgotten powers awaken, both the living and the dead will find themselves pulled toward an inevitable reckoning. Every whisper could be your last…

Shadow of the Undying is a Critical Connections Adventure, presented in partnership with Edventures. Critical Connections is a community-based business offering inclusive, therapeutic, and engaging Dungeons & Dragons sessions for tweens and teens—regardless of neurodivergence status. Our mission is to build social connection, foster creativity, and encourage emotional growth through storytelling and collaborative play. Sessions are led by trained facilitators who understand neurodiversity and create a safe,
welcoming space where every player is valued and empowered.
