Core Skills & Standards
Our hybrid programs include engaging and fun instruction in the "core skills" of math, reading, and language arts in the morning, paired with hands-on science, social studies, STEM, art history, and world cultures in the afternoons. Each day offers an array of teacher directed and student-led activities, along with ample time for socialization and building friendships in our play room & outdoors in our beautiful green space.
Critical Thinking & Creativity
We offer an abundance of opportunities to develop creativity and critical thinking, skills. From analyzing literature or writing creative stories, to participating in STEAM activities, or building a fort in our "forest," our students learn to model, create, construct, read, write with purpose, become an entrepreneur, and so much more!
Reading Instruction
We specialize in reading!
Our Orton Gillingham based approach provides explicit, sequential, multi-sensory instruction to help students learn to read, spell, and write effectively! OG reading instruction is included in all of our hybrid programming K - 5th grade. We also offer small group literacy intensives and private tutoring options.

EdVentures Hybrid Programs
EdVentures offers a variety of mix-and-match academic hybrid programs designed to complement your homeschooler's needs and schedule! All of our programs are presented in a relaxed, engaging, and stress-reduced, anxiety-friendly environment that promotes learning through a developmental, whole-child approach. Our offerings include programs such as academic hybrids (standards-aligned instruction in the core subjects), reading and writing remediation programs for struggling readers and writers and/or students presenting with dyslexia, and a hands-on Friday Learning Lab program suitable for most learners. Our evidence-based, multisensory curriculum ensures we meet academic goals while fostering genuine understanding. Prioritizing quality over quantity, we emphasize meaningful assignments over repetitive busywork. Our culture values kindness, respect, cooperation, community, and character, alongside socialization and friendship-building. Every program, regardless of age, includes extended morning and afternoon breaks for students to decompress, enjoy a snack, and interact with friends in our inviting green space or the community play room.
We accept neurotypical students, along with students presenting with dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety, or mild learning challenges. We are not equipped to handle students with behavioral challenges in any program.

Reading & Writing Remediation Programs
Our Foundations program offer intensive reading and writing support to struggling readers or those presenting with dyslexia. These programs may be paired with alternate-day hybrid options or the Friday Learning Lab.

Private remediation programs and weekly tutoring are available to students needing one-on-one remediation or support. We offer homeschool programs during the week as well as after school and weekend tutoring.

Play and Learn is a hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning program that features hands-on math and thematic literature-based fun in the morning, with optional small-group structured literacy (learning to read through an Orton Gillingham approach) and Spanish in the afternoons!

This program is a hands-on extension to our hybrid classes, but can be taken as a standalone class. Fridays offer a rotation of Math FUNdations, Spectacular Science, Creative Writing & Composition, plus Art & World Cultures

Co-op style class; parental participation required.
This program is designed for students 3 - 8 years and includes hands-on explorations in STEM, process art, nature play, and so much more! Moms will also have a chance to connect and create their own community!

We provide a full spectrum of reading and writing options! From specialized learning pods to weekly tutoring or intensive remediation, we can help your child thrive! Our reading tutors are all teachers in the EdVentures learning pods and are Orton Gillingham trained.

EdVentures is one of the only homeschool hybrid programs in the area that provides evidence-based, structured literacy instruction using acclaimed, multi-sensory programs, such as the Orton Gillingham Approach, Lindamood Bell's Visualizing & Verbalizing, Learning Without Tears, and more. All of our primary and elementary teachers are Orton Gillingham trained!
We also offer reading tutoring and/or remediation programs for students needing one-on-one support.

EdVentures offers weekly summer enrichment programs through the month of June. Our small and cozy environment is the perfect space for students who prefer a more relaxed and quiet experience, taught by professional teachers. Students will enjoy a day filled with fun! Our theme-based camps include a daily mix of arts and crafts, outdoor play, STEM challenges, nature exploration, cooking projects, slime-making, fun games, and so much more! Private reading tutoring is available as an add-on feature during the program.
