Get ready for a summer full of discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun! Each week features a new theme that sparks curiosity and encourages exploration. Students dive into STEM challenges, tackle exciting math and science activities, and enjoy interactive games that put learning into action. From building and experimenting to problem-solving and teamwork, every day is packed with opportunities to explore, create, and play. Full STEAM Ahead is the perfect mix of learning, friendship, and summer fun!

SUMMER MATH-UP!
Facts, Fluency, Focused Concepts

Designed to address the root of common learning challenges, our Mini-Mathletes will experience math in a whole new way this summer! Each day includes focused practice with facts and fluency, integrated work across the four basic operations—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—and builds toward deeper concepts like fractions, geometry, and more. Through hands-on activities, games, and problem-solving challenges, students gain confidence, strengthen core skills, and develop true mathematical understanding. With engaging lessons and plenty of practice, our Summer Math-Up helps kids close gaps, build mastery, and even learn to love math!

PILLARS OF READING
Learn, Create, Play, Repeat!

This program focuses on the key pillars of reading and spelling, including phonological awareness, phonemes, fluency, and comprehension. Using specialized curriculum, students receive explicit, multisensory, hands-on instruction to target each of these areas, then expand on concepts through creative and fun craft projects, literature, and games. By connecting skill-building with stories, play, and projects, students build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading!

FILM FESTIVAL
Boost Your Reading or Math Skills

Step into the world of storytelling, creativity, and movie magic! Campers explore every part of filmmaking—from writing scripts and storyboarding to acting, directing, and filming. Hands-on activities include camera work, editing, special effects, and sound design, giving students the chance to bring their stories to life. Along the way, campers collaborate on short films, creative projects, and group challenges, building teamwork, confidence, and technical skills. Film Camp is the perfect mix of imagination, creativity, and cinematic fun!

OG Reading, Spelling, & Math Tutoring

Back by popular demand...this program sold out quickly last year!

TWO OPTIONS:

1. In-Camp: Students will be pulled out for 30 minutes per day

2. A La Carte: Private tutoring without enrolling in our summer enrichment program is available after 12:00.

Our degreed/certified teachers are OG trained and use the UFLI Orton-Gillingham approach to provide personalized instruction tailored to your child’s unique learning profile. Whether they’re building confidence in foundational skills or reinforcing key concepts, our expert teachers ensure a supportive and engaging learning experience to help your child thrive.

Students enrolled in our summer enrichment program may add the Brain Booster Tutoring package as an academic complement to their experience with us. For our A La Carte option, please contact Kristin Perez at kperez@edvinstruction.com

Sample Schedule

Following is a sample schedule of our day. Actual times and rotations may vary.

Minimum Requirement

The recommended minimum for in-camp tutoring is 4 days per week for 4 weeks since consistency and continuity essential to making substantial growth.

We offer sessions in 30- or 60- minute increments. We recommend 30 minutes for primary students and 60 minutes for students in 4th grade and above.

Private tutoring can be arranged in 60 minute blocks on your schedule.

Assessment

A pre-program assessment will be scheduled in May to ensure your child can hit the ground running! Families will receive a copy of their child's assessment report. There is a *$75 assessment fee which will be paid upon sign-up.

During the program, you will receive a daily log of what your child learned that day.

Current EdV tutoring clients will not need an assessment and the fee will not be charged.

Reading / Spelling

Our highly trained instructors use a step-by-step approach, focusing on phonemic awareness (understanding sounds in language), recognizing phonemes (hearing and reading sounds in isolation), decoding (sounding-out words), encoding (spelling using explicitly taught spelling rules), fluency, and comprehension, to ensure students become strong and confident readers.

Math

Our math tutoring program offers targeted, personalized support to help students build confidence and mastery in key math concepts. Whether reinforcing foundational skills, tackling challenging topics, or advancing beyond grade level, our sessions are designed to meet each student's unique needs in a focused and engaging environment.
